Hello to all of the students of Tachibana High School,
My name is Alan Cho, and I will be supporting the English teaching staff starting this month. I was born and raised in America, and graduated from university with a degree in accounting.
Ever since I was in high school, I have enjoyed teaching others. Also, like many other students my age, I liked to play video games and watch Japanese anime. When I became a college student, I learned more about Japanese culture and history, and became more interested in coming to Japan. These are all reasons why I chose to come to Japan to teach English.
I hope to learn more about Japanese traditions and education, and in return, teach about American customs and English language. I am looking forward to meeting all of you in the coming months. Let’s work hard and have a great semester!
